About Elanor
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and a trainee member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), working as an individual, relationship, and psychosexual therapist. I adhere to the ethical frameworks of these organisations, offering a professional, boundaried, and empathic space to explore your experiences.
My training began with a psychology diploma, followed by a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Relationship and Psychosexual Therapy at Tavistock Relationships. Alongside my private practice, I work within the NHS and Tavistock, providing individual, relationship, and psychosexual therapy.
I work in an affirmative and inclusive way, welcoming people of all identities, sexualities, and relationship structures. I work both online and in person.
My Approach
I take an integrative approach that works with your thoughts, emotions, and body. Often, when we feel anxious or stuck, we can become disconnected from what we’re feeling physically and emotionally. By gently bringing awareness back to the body, alongside talking and reflection, we can begin to understand what’s happening more clearly. Change happens not just with the cognitive brain but with the whole body.
I draw on psychodynamic ideas to explore how past experiences shape current patterns, as well as CBT-informed tools, and the central nervous system to help manage your mental health and create change in the present. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs, offering a supportive space to explore, understand, and move forward.
